Privé afternoon

Dropped by Keppel Island one sunny day for brunch in March.
Waterfront dining, fancy moored yachts, great casual atmosphere and awesome company made a fabulous dining experience for me. It got a little warmer towards the later part of our meal though, so we shifted to a shadier area.

You can find generous amounts of smoked salmon, baby spinach, rocket, tomatoes, capers drenched in vinaigrette in this large bowl of salad.

Just some atas iced tea...

Fries with truffle mayonnaise.
If there's something known as the bestest-tasting mayonnaise, then this must be it.
I know roughly how much oil goes into the making of mayonnaise, but it was so good that I simply couldn't resist dipping freely the fries in them.

Bagel, smoked salmon, capers and cream cheese.
Was expecting hot, toasty bagels but I got cold ones that were slightly tough to chew so yeah, it was a little disappointing. I'm sure it would have been tastier if the bagels were served warm though!

And here's a happy-looking Bun.

can't help thinking about that truffle mayonnaise now...
