It was fun, and I did not cause any serious injury to any of my partners' feet. I wasn't the only one who turned up without a partner, and it didn't really matter because they made the guys rotate around so that we'd definitely have more than one chance to pair up.
I'm looking forward to the next lesson already, gee.
